SG50 Harmony Wok
The SG50 Harmony Wok was a culinary event that aimed to celebrate Singapore’s cultural diversity through our food and flavours. The cooking competition featured a Culinary Showcase of various ethnic dishes. Participants also pit their culinary skills to whip up a vegetarian dish in the Cooking Challenge. The judging panel for the SG50 Harmony Wok included THKMS Chairman, Mr Lee Kim Siang, F&B and Operations Manager of ToTT, Mr Ted Mauritius as well as the Executive Chef from Marina Bay Sands, Mr Lo Lai Kwang.
The winning team for the Cooking Challenge made up of Mr Daniel Selvarajoo, his Sri Lankan wife Ms Shanika Prabasheeni and their friend Ms Nisha Mahika. The winning dish called “Deep Fried Vegetable Cutlet” was subsequently served at the Inter Racial Inter Religious Harmony Nite 2015.
