This year, we held our Charity Show on 6 May 2007 telecast live on MediaCorp Channel 8 . The theme for the Charity Show was ‘Love'. We achieved our target to raise $4.5m (inclusive of $1.2m for the costs involved) to cover the projected deficits incurred by AMK – THK Hospital and other welfare services such as Home Help Service, Homes for the Disabled, Counseling Centres, Senior Activity Centres, Neighbourhood Links, Therapy Hub, Counseling for divorced families, and Free Lunch Centres.

Foreign artistes who contributed their performance at the Charity Show include Tsai Chin, Angela Chang, Hong Kong pop group Grasshoppers, Peter Ho, Dylan Guo, Tank, Hung Hsiu-Mei and sister Hung Hsiu-Yu (Veteran Hokkien Opera Singers). MediaCorp's Guo Liang and Quan Yi Feng partnered with well-known Taiwanese comperes Mickey Huang and Patty Hou to host the Charity Show at MediaCorp TV Theatre.

The funds raised from the Show will benefit thousands of beneficiaries and their family members. For instance, our meal delivery service helps more than 600 frail or disabled people by delivering lunches and dinners to their homes every day. We have also succeeded in delivering 200 babies by helping parents faced with pregnancy crises.
